DUPE Beauty Blender!

My problem with the Beauty Blender has always been the price. It's a lot of money for what can only be described as a sponge, but with my foundation brush falling apart I knew it was time to find something new.

After searching Ebay for a cheap Beauty Blender, I found this wonderful dupe from Korea costing a grand total of 99p! You cannot say no to that!

It took just over a week for it to get here, which is pretty impressive to say it came from Korea. Usually when I order anything from abroad it takes months to arrive!

When I opened up the packaging today, my first thought was "wow this is small". It's literally the size of two 50 pence pieces. I don't know why I thought it would be bigger, but I did. It is, therefore, extremely compact and will happily fit into handbags and purses, so I guess it is a plus. I'm just worried about losing it!

It's basically a really thick sponge, with different edges  that you dampen which helps to enable smooth blending. Really, it works perfectly. Even better than my foundation brush, and it seems to take less time to get my desired effect. It's such a cute and handy product and I really urge you all to spend that 99p and add this to your collection!

Benefits of using this:

1. Give you a flawless foundation application every single time.
2. No streaks and no areas with too much makeup or too little.
3. Latex free, non-allergenic and odour free
4. Will not lose it's shape or had any nicks or dings for year's use.
5. It is very thick and smooth compare with the one with lots of small holes with Vitamin "E" in it.

How to use:

Use its pointed side for hard-to-reach spots like around the nose and mouth, and under the eyes.
Use the round base for foundation and blush on the larger areas of your face such as your forehead, cheeks and chin.
You can use it with liquid or pancake foundation
If used daily, we recommend washing your sponge once a week with a mild cleanser.
Baby shampoo or soap will work. Rinse well and air dry.

  2. OMG Jane I just purchased a couple of these babies yesterday!
Who would of known you'd be writing a post about them!
Glad they are all good reviews!
I got spring colours as I found some pastel colours on eBay!
I couldn't justify the actual price of the "Beauty Blender"
I did honestly find it a tad bit expensive for a sponge!

  3. I used to have a pink one of these and I loved it, my only issue was that mine was really annoying to clean, for some reason it just took forever to get all of the foundation off of it and a couple of days to dry, it was more expensive than this though so for this price I may have to get a couple and rotate them :)
