Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

I ran out of Maybelline's Fit Me Foundation a week or two ago and in my desperation for coverage I nipped to Tesco with my Mum. I found Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation on sale from £7.99 down to £4 so I thought "why the heck not!" and threw it in my basket.

"A match so perfect, it's undetectable in any light!
Light Perfecting radiance foundation
Traceless coverage and perfectly flawless skin under any light
Lasts all day. SPF 18"

I chose shade 010 Light Porcelain and I'm glad I did! This shade is SO perfect, a lot of foundations make my skin look overly orange (even Maybelline's Fit Me Foundation made me orangey in some places) but this foundation matches my ridiculous pale skin perfectly. It's got a great coverage, which is something I need in a foundation and it doesn't dry to the dead skin on my face (gross I know, but we all know that it happens on a cold day!)

I would say this foundation lasts a good 5 or 6 hours on my face without primer, and maybe 7 or 8 with. It smells gorgeous, I've never really felt the need to comment on a foundation's smell before, but I just really like the smell of this one!

There is 11 shades, so you will definitely be able to find a "perfect match" for yourself. It's a really good foundation and hey at £4 from Tesco - how can you say no!?

Also just a quick update on my new tortoise! Sid is settling in very well, he's a bit of an idiot and a little rascal. I took him to the vet the other day and found out that he's really under weight and he's not been eating. He had to have his beak cut off, and his nails trimmed. After a day or two of being really mad at me he's finally started eating again - and he's eating A LOT - so things are really looking up for him!

I post a lot of photos of him on my instagram so if you are interested then go follow me on there. Or my facebook! But if you are all actually interested then I'll post more about him and his progress.

And there's a cute little video of him below climbing over my Doc Martens.
