Yet another Topshop lipstick review (you can read Peach Sundae and Rio Rio by clicking the links). This time I am reviewing Wicked!
Wicked is a lot darker in the bullet than it is whilst on the lips so don't let how dark it looks put you off! This is a gorgeous wine shade which is extremely close to Mac's Rebel (honestly, they are pretty much exactly the same). This lipstick is very vampy and definitely a staple for Autumn or the grunge trend.
As with all Topshop lipsticks that I have reviewed recently, Wicked has a wonderful moisturising formula. The quality of these lipsticks is just fantastic and I've said before that they remind me a lot of Mac lippies, which I completely stand by. I find that with darker lipsticks they seem to dry out a lot quicker than lighter ones - I don't know why, they just do - but Wicked doesn't dry out at all and it also stays put all day! It doesn't feather or need touching up much which is fantastic for such a dark shade. This is such a cute colour and if you are looking for something like Mac's Rebel but aren't wanting to pay the hefty £15 price tag then this is the lipstick for you!
Wicked is selling at all big Topshops and online for £8.
(Temporarily removed the lip swatch as when I looked at this post on my phone the colour looked nothing like it does in real life so I will update with a better swatch in the morning x)
Wow the colour of the actual lipstick is very misleading, the colour is great applied though :-)
ReplyDeleteThe colours are very different but still look lovely!:)

Have you seen MAC's Studded Kiss from their new Punk Couture line? You may like that one too! Very dark and is a matte formula!
ReplyDeleteAhh this colour looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your lip swatch.
I love a dark vampy lipstick, I'm also loving the fact it doesn't feather or need much touch ups, that's the worst, especially for dark colours as they're so noticable >.< haha.

I'm really liking this! Hopefully I'll bump into a Topshop when I travel to Florida (we don't have Topshop where I live). I really, really want a dark lipstick for the upcoming winter! (aka in a few months).
