Brilliant Books!

1. Perks Of Being A Wallflower - this is my all time favourite book, as I'm sure it is for many people. I completely connect with the main character Charlie, and I think many people do. I must of read this book at least 12 times. I tend to read it when I'm sad or feeling depressed, mainly because it's nice to feel like you aren't the only one in the world feeling like that and a lot of things Charlie says I completely get and can relate to. I think if you haven't read this book you should go out and buy it NOW. I cannot stress enough how much this book means to me. It's absolutely beautiful and perfect.

2. The Fault In Our Stars - as you may or may not know, my Nana has terminal cancer so I completely get this book. The plot revolves around Hazel and her friend/boyfriend Augustus and it pretty much follows them around going to cancer survivor meetings and making their wish before they die. It's a wonderful book about relationships and love and I completely recommend it with all my heart. It's funny but it's also extremely sad at the same time and it's a definite must-read for pretty much anybody - my Mum absolutely loved this book and I think if you enjoyed Looking For Alaska (or any of John Green's other novels for that matter) you will adore this and it will stay with you for a long time.

3. The Mortal Instruments Series (City Of Bones, City Of Ashes, City Of Glass, City Of Fallen Angels & City Of Lost Souls) - this book series completely changed my life. Honestly. I started reading these when I was about 17 years old and I'm almost 21, so you can see how obsessive I am about them. They revolve around a girl named Clary Fay who finds out she is something called a Shadowhunter - which is basically a demon hunter. The books follow her transition and her ever evolving love with the absolutely fantastic Jace. If you are into mythology and magic then these books are you. I have literally fallen in love with each one of these books and honestly I feel like the characters are my best friends. I cannot wait for the film to come out in 2013, it will probably be the best day of my life.

4. Bared To You - so like most girls, I went through the 50 Shades Of Grey books when they came out and became popular. Though I enjoyed the books (I mean, who wouldn't want to go in the Red Room Of Pain? hot hot hot), I always felt like there was something missing. The writing in 50SOG is awful to say the least and I was looking for something more. That's when I found this bad boy. This book, is so much more realistic. It's not about the whole dom/sub thing at all, well not really, I think it's mentioned once but it's a passing comment. This book is more about two people falling in love and trying to save eachother from their pasts. They are both equally as messed up as eachother, but it's much more realistic and Gideon Cross who is the Christian Grey type character is SO much nicer and you feel like you could completely fall in love with him. He actually cares about Eva and shows it in a way that Christian never could for Ana. Plus the sex scenes are actually scorching hot. I'm drooling just thinking about it. If you want something sexy but also brilliantly emotional then this is the book for you. Miles better than 50 Shades.

5.Guild Hunter Novels (Angel's Blood, Archangel's Consort, Archangel's Kiss & Archangels Blade) - this is another series you will love if you like mythology and sexy angels. The books are set in New York, but not a New York as we know it. A New York that is run by powerful and beautiful Archangels. It follows the life of Elena, who works as a Guild Hunter, her job is to track down rogue vampires who break their contracts. One day she is hired by the Archangel of New York Raphael to do a job only she can do - track a rogue Archangel. I know from what I've just wrote that these books sound extremely childish and awful but honestly oh my good god. They are amazing. And they are adult books for a reason. The sex scenes are intense and the fight/action scenes are even more. They're absolutely fabulous to be honest and I can promise you'll fall in love with the characters the way that I did. 5 books later and I'm still addicted.

I genuinely do recommend all of these books, they are my absolute favourites and I just needed to share them with the rest of the world!!
