A Change Of Opinion

I just wanted to add a new opinion on Rimmel's APOCALIPS. I have now been using these lip laquers for over a week (maybe two!), and I have tried to wear them every day. As much as I love how pigmented this product is and how nicely packaged it is, there is one thing that is completely grinding my gears.

IF YOU ACCIDENTLY PUT TOO MUCH ON, IT GET'S EVERYWHERE!

Please don't tell me I am the only one. I have found on many occasions that the gloss is all over my teeth or all over my face and in my hair. It annoys me that this product doesn't dry. The only way to slightly dry it is to dap your lips with toilet roll or a cotton bud, but then I find that it makes my lips really dry and flakey - not what you want.

I loved the idea of this product so much at first, and everybody else was raving on about them, but now I just feel let down. I feel like when I'm wearing these I have to constantly check my face and my teeth. I do not have this problem with any other lip product.

Pffft. Rant over.

My New Room!

Ahh this is such an exciting post for me to write because my room has FINALLY (after over a month of living in the guest bedroom) been finished! Woohoo! It's been transformed from a single bedroom into a double more "grown up" sort of room, including a 32" tv and Sid's tank! I am SO happy with the work my Dad did on my room, it looks completely different and it's so much nicer than it was when it was black and white. Ahhh!

FOR SALE! White & Turquoise Dr Martens, Size 4

Selling LIKE NEW/USED size 4 Dr Martens on Ebay! They've been worn 2 or 3 times (but never out of the house) and are in really good condition. Were originally bought for £100 but as I've got so many pairs of boots and so little money I thought I'd sell them! They are super comfy and really pretty so if you're interested go and bid (or buy it now £70)

Photography Flickr

I just thought I'd pop this on here, my new "photography flickr" - there's only a few things on there at the moment, and it's not like I'm some amazing photographer or anything! It's just nice to have somewhere to put my stuff at the moment, whilst I'm learning and studying. So...

Also on Friday I will be doing a bit of modelling which I am super excited about so hopefully I will have some great photos from that shoot to show you all!

Last Night

Just a quick "lifestyle" post! I went out last night to watch my boyfriend's band and then to Liquid and then back to Live Lounge. I had a TOP night. And Kieron's band - The Dark Rooms - were on top form! I took my Canon out with me (brave I know) and took loads of great shots of the band and then, ridiculously drunken shots of me and my friends so thought I'd share a few. I'd also advise you check out The Dark Rooms as they are great and fabulous and I'm not biased at all...

Andrew Barton's Wave Envy Triple Barrel Waver

Today I treated myself to Andrew Barton's Wave Envy. I've wanted a three barrel hair waver FOR AGES as I love my hair to be wavy and hippy like. I also love the retro look waves can make and to be honest, waves do fabulous things for my facial structure (oh vanity)

I bought this on sale at Argos and it was about £23 which for a 3 barrel waver is an absolute BARGAIN! Some on the market at the moment are over £70 and we all know how much I like a good bargain!

I personally think this is a great product! The waver has 9 heat settings which is great for varying tightness of the waves and also fab cause you won't over-burn your hair. It's pleasing to look at (although my mother said it looked like an instrument of torture - alright Linda, calm down) and it's just about the right size for any body with jaw length hair or longer.

Here are a few webcam pics of me styling my hair and the finished product!
